Inter-Weave

Weaving New Zealand into the world, Inter-Weave is New Zealand's only remaining manufacturer of high-end commercial and residential upholstery fabrics, wool homewares, and apparel. Founded in Auckland in 1978, the company sits at the heart of the fibre-to-fabric value chain, a living example of what locally rooted, end-to-end textile manufacturing looks like in practice.

Almost every product begins with New Zealand wool, grown on local farms and processed entirely within the country. The yarn is then dyed, woven, and finished entirely within the country at Inter-Weave's semi-vertical manufacturing facility in Auckland.

With 50 years of experience, the company serves clients across New Zealand, and throughout the world, spanning commercial upholstery, hospitality, transport fabric, and homewares. Their work is guided by a belief that natural fibres, made responsibly and designed with intention, represent the long-term future of sustainable textiles.

Inter-Weave holds Toitu Enviromark Diamond certification, maintained for 15 consecutive years, and continues to champion New Zealand wool as a world-class, traceable, and genuinely sustainable material.
