A Night to Celebrate Circular Innovation
7th October, 2025
Celebrating circular creativity and the future of fashion in Aotearoa.
On October 7th 2025, we came together at the Fashion & Textiles NZ Circular Design Awards to celebrate the designers, business leaders, and sustainability advocates who are redefining fashion and leading the way toward a more circular, regenerative industry.
Now in its third year, the Awards continue to spotlight the creativity and innovation transforming Aotearoa’s fashion system. With more than 143 tonnes of clothing waste going to landfill every day, circular design is not just an aspiration — it’s essential. The evening showcased how circular thinking can turn waste into opportunity, and creativity into climate action.
Jacinta FitzGerald, Chief Executive of Fashion & Textiles NZ, said:
“These Awards are about sparking new ideas and collaborations to tackle our country’s textile waste challenges. This year’s winners prove that circular design is not only possible, but desirable, scalable, and commercially viable.”
Congratulations to our 2025 winners - Lof, Kensa Munroe, Deonne Schollum, and Maryna Lottering - and to all entrants whose vision is helping to shape a thriving, regenerative future for fashion in Aotearoa.
Special thanks to our partners Webb’s Auction House, Purform Mannequins, Paritua and Spy Valley Wines for making this celebration possible.
